Now digitally restored and remastered with state-of-the-art technology, THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS is deeper, darker and more brilliant than ever just as Tim Burton originally envisioned it. Can Christmas be saved? Bored with the same old scare-and-scream routine, Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, longs to spread the joy of Christmas. But his merry mission puts Santa in jeopardy and creates a nightmare for good little boys and girls everywhere!
Bonus Features
THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS is the first full-length stop-motion animated film ever created.
The movie contains more than 227 animated characters.
Santa Claus head has more than 50 different working parts, and Jack has more than 400 separate interchangeable heads, each handcrafted with a different facial expression.
The smallest working puppet in the movie is a doll from the real world Jack visits that is only one inch long.
Sally is wearing a real miniature dress laid on top of foam latex so that the fabric doesnt move too much on screen.
At the height of production, the animators produced only 70 seconds of finished film per week.
To create Halloweentowns twisted look, the design artists often made their sketches using their nondrawing hand.

Customer Reviews
I loved the movie long before it became popular, so I was excited to find out that some of my favorite artists were covering the Nightmare Before Christmas songs.
The genre of the album is mainly rock tis why I loved it so much. Keep in mind that this album is coming from a movie that is a bit of a musical, so youll hear a dialogue in some songs and will sound like a typical soundtrack.
Amy-Lee is awesome as always. Im upset with how short the song was but wuddya gonna do; I just kept repeating it. You can definitely hear her style come out. KoRn does his thing with Kidnap the Sandy ClawsI loved it, it was very entertaining, and Im a big fan of the band. Ive never heard of The Vitamin String Quartet but be assured I will definitely look into their music. I never really liked the original Oogie Boogies Song, but I loved what Rodrigo y Garbriela did with it. They made the song enjoyable for me. I dont like All-American Rejects AT ALL, but I liked s Lament. They did a good job. I can go on about how great this album is but Ill cut it short and will let you know some of the bad. (its the reason why youre reading this, I assume).
I can say I was disappointed with a few songs. #7 Town Meeting Song by The Polyphonic Spree this song lasted about 9 minutes but I couldnt get through the first 3. It was too for me and way too slow. The song naturally had dialogue in it (and if you saw the movie, you know what Im talking about) but they just didnt do anything interesting with it. This song was my least favorite.. actually.. it was even a favorite. I just hated it. #9 s Obsession by Sparklehorse holy crap this covered song should be buried in the archives of crap. Ill never look into Sparklehorses other works. There was so much you couldve done with the song, but it was acoustic-y and high pitch squeaky vocals. Garbage. #12 by Yoshida Brothers was also 7 minutes long and I got through 6 minutes of it before skipping. This song had a jazzy-feel to it.. Im not a fan of jazz. Yoshida Brothers, unfortunately, wasnt able to stay true to the melody of the song for most of it. It did in the beginning but then I got lost and couldnt recognize that this harmonic artwork was from Nightmare Before Christmas. It was bearable but bad. #15 Christmas Eve Montage by Rjd2 didnt sound rock to but like that purely synthesized stuff (forget the genre.. I hardly listen to that stuff anyway). Its Bass/Beat prominent, but I liked it because it stood true to the melody of the original song. Thats my only beef with this song. #17 To the Rescue by Datarock also purely synthesized.. good if you like stuff like that. Its was pretty good and exciting.
The artists Im unfamiliar with received bad reviews (by me in this review youre reading right now)I guess partially because of the fact that Im unfamiliar with them. A song can sound bad but I may say its good because the artist that covered it is one of my favorites. Its just how the mind works and the familiarity of their style. If you LOVE Datarock, Sparklehorse (god save him), Yoshida Brothers, The Polyphonic Spree, and Rjd2, then forget what I said and get the disc. I didnt like what they did because I would never listen to their music.
I gave it 5/5 stars because I love the movie and the original songs. I truly love what most of the artists did with it; with the exception to the artists I dont like.. if I had liked them then this album would be flawless, and Id give it an extra star if possible.

In honor of Buzz and Bloom's upcoming birthday celebration, I created a Congratulations card and a Happy Birthday card. These are fairly simple cards, that can be done in a snap, if you prepare the chipboard letters ahead of time! I think the time has come to admit an addiction to you all, as long as I am talking about preparing chipboard ahead of time. I have been having a love affair with spray paint. I KNOW! I KNOW!-I should be ashamed. I love spray paint so much! No, not the fumes, the ease of use!! I am a bit reluctant to use spray paint on chipboard that goes on scrapbook pages, but for cards?? Spray away, spray away!! I try to have a plan, so I make sure I have enough time to add multiple coats of spray paint for the most vibrant colors. I have recently acquired quite a collection of neutrals, as well as bright spray paint. I place the chipboard on an old piece of cardboard, and head outside for good ventilation. The glossy spray paint gives the chipboard a great, glossy look, and I don't get paint all over my fingers! It covers well, and the Buzz and Bloom chipboard accepts the spray paint beautifully! I painted both the bright pink and the white chipboard you see in my examples with spray paint.
For the two cards I completed here, I used several different types of Buzz and Bloom chipboard.
